The Penn State Nittany Lions opened the season as national title favorite, but suffered a three-game losing streak in the middle of the season that led to head coach James Franklin being fired.
Penn State added two more losses to sit at 3-5 on the season with a massive showdown against No. 2 Indiana on the schedule. Playing at home, the Nittany Lions nearly pulled off an epic upset with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt on the call, but came up just short with a stellar touchdown from the Hoosiers in the waning moments of the fourth quarter.
While most fans were enthused with the play on the field, they couldn't quite get over Johnson's performance.
