TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- An 18-year-old from Centreville was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday morning in Tuscaloosa County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The 18-year-old was killed when the pickup truck they were operating left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. The teen was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The teen was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 82 near the 68 mile marker, about six miles west of Brent. Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
