So was Hugh Freeze the problem all along?
That seems to be the general consensus after Auburn’s offense looked totally transformed in the first half vs. Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Tigers scored on all four offensive possessions to take 20-10 lead to the locker room.
Still a half to go, but Auburn looked like a different team in their first game under interim coach DJ Durkin. The Tigers’ offense also was more creative, efficient, explosive and productive overall with offensive coordinator Derrick Nix calling plays in place of Freeze.
