Portland police Saturday released the identity of the man who died after a shooting Oct. 25 in Portland’s Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood .

Andrew “Andy” Nguyen, 22, of Portland, died of homicide by gunshot wound according to the state medical examiner, the Portland Police Bureau said in a news release.

Officers responded to a reported shooting just before 5:30 p.m. Oct. 25 near Southeast 142nd Avenue and Southeast Division Street, where they found Nguyen. He died at the hospital, police said.
