Although it has been a few years since actor-comedian Pete Davidson was last seen on “ Saturday Night Live ,” he recently said that if series creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels asked him to come back, he would take the opportunity. “I owe that guy my life. He jump-started everything,” Davidson told People on Nov. 8. “I’d do anything for Lorne, and he knows that.”
One of the youngest cast members to be part of the “SNL” ensemble, Davidson joined the show during its 40th season when he was just 20 years old. He stands alongside Eddie Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Michael Hall as one of the few “SNL” stars who joined before their twenty-first birthdays.
Davidson starred on the show for eight seasons between 2014 and 2022, and returned to host an episode in October
