LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Enjoy the warmer weather we have for now, as big changes are moving in starting Sunday and into our Monday.

Our cold front is pushing in this evening and will bring the wind shift as we head overnight, and some of those winds look to be on the gusty side.

Overnight lows will dip back into the upper 50s to near 60, but feel cooler with the northerly wind, so you will want to keep the jacket on hand.

Even with plenty of sunshine on Sunday, our highs will be slow to climb with most areas in the upper 60s to near 70.

As the sun sets, that will be when the temperatures really begin to drop as lows will dip back into the upper 30s to near 40 Monday morning.
