LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Freeman High School defeated Laurel-Concord-Coleridge in 4 sets to win the Class C2 State Championship. (25-23, 16-25, 25-18, 29-27)
The Falcons were led by Alicia Johansen. The senior middle blocker finished with 19 kills and 14 digs. This is the 4th state title in school history and the first since 2014.
Other notable contributors for the Falcons were Reagan Rinne who recorded 13 kills & 13 digs, and Brecken Albers Dorn who finished with 10 kills. Freeman ends the season with a 29-4 record.
