STARKVILLE, Miss. - Georgia fans might have been worried at the start of the game, with the cowbells roaring as expected and Mississippi State coming in hot, but the energy from the crowd died down soon enough.

MSU scored on their opening drive and then instantly got a stop on defense to hold the Dawgs to a field goal.

Later in the first quarter, Georgia fumbled the ball inside the MSU 5-yard line after an explosive 31-yard run by Nate Frazier. The Dawgs defense responded with a fumble recovery not long after that, and the offense capitalized off the turnover to start the second quarter to take the 10-7 lead.

After that, it was smooth sailing for UGA the rest of the way: A 24-7 lead at the half, and the Dawgs never let off the gas.
