PROVIDENCE – The state’s girls soccer dynasty of the 2000s and 2010s is back in the winner’s circle, and it came at the expense of the program that has controlled the 2020s to date.
La Salle authored a dominant display in the opening half, enough of a cushion to prevent North Kingstown from staging the sort of comeback that led to a 2024 crown.
Mila Falcone, Gianni Rabielli and Allie Scott all scored inside the opening 38 minutes as the Rams took firm command at Rhode Island College. They smothered the Skippers from there to record a 3-1 victory, capturing a first Division I crown in five years.
“We wanted to be the group to be back there,” Falcone said. “La Salle – we wanted to be that team to get back on top again. This year we did it.”
