Public sector enterprise, Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY26) after market hours on Friday, November 7. The shipping major posted a net profit of ₹189 crore, compared with ₹291 crore in the same period last year, marking a 35% fall.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹1,338.8 crore, down 7.7% from ₹1,450.7 crore a year earlier.
The company’s EBITDA also declined 23.7% to ₹406 crore from ₹532.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, while operating margins contracted to 30.3% from 36.7% in Q2 FY25.
The board of directors approved the declaration of an interim dividend of ₹3 per equity share (30% on a face value of ₹10 each) for FY26.
