Iowa football looked like it was ready to make a statement in its first second-half drive against Oregon .
The Hawkeyes , trailing 12-7, used 11 plays and nearly seven minutes of game time to get to the Ducks ' 13-yard line, in great position to take their first lead. Wide receiver and gadget star Kaden Wetjen then got the ball on a sweep, but a terrific defensive hit sprung the ball loose.
Wetjen was called down on the field, but an extended review determined the ball came out before Wetjen went down, giving Oregon the ball and the game's momentum.
The Ducks then capitalized as quarterback Dante Moore rushed for 49 yards to get into Iowa territory.
Luckily for Hawkeyes fans, however, Oregon was held to just a field goal, extending its lead to 15-7 and keeping Iowa within on
