As winter weather returns, the North Bay Police Service (NBPS) is reminding motorists to prepare their vehicles and adjust their driving habits. Cold temperatures, snow, and ice can change road conditions quickly, making it important for drivers to slow down, stay alert, and plan ahead.
“Taking the time to prepare your vehicle and adjust your driving can prevent collisions and keep everyone on the road safer,” said Acting Inspector deHaas of the North Bay Police Service. “If road conditions are poor, slow down or wait until it’s safe to travel. A few extra minutes can make all the difference in getting to your destination safely.”
