The top of the 5-5A Division I standings were sorted out with Lone Star defeating Reedy, as well as Frisco outlasting McKinney North to take the fourth and final playoff spot.

And while there fireworks aplenty toward the top of the table, Centennial and Sherman were both able to finish their season on the right note.
