ATLANTA — The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a delay program for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Saturday evening due to ongoing staffing issues, potentially affecting hundreds of flights across the United States.

According to the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center, the delay will run from 8:55 p.m. Saturday through 2:59 a.m. Sunday. The agency said the program affects all flights departing from U.S. airports bound for Atlanta.

The FAA set the airport's arrival rate at different intervals during the night, with delays expected to average 337 minutes, over five and a half hours, and a maximum delay of up to 444 minutes.
