CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Metro bus carrying passengers was caught in an exchange of gunfire in South Fairmount, according to a Metro spokesperson.

The bus was shot near the intersection of Linden Street and Carll Street Saturday afternoon, officials say

A Metro spokesperson says the bus was caught in an exchange of gunfire between people in the area.

The bus driver drove away from the scene to a safe location and waited for police to arrive, a spokesperson says.

The bus was carrying passengers, but officials say no injuries were reported.
