The remains of an Israeli soldier killed in 2014 were allegedly recovered by Hamas Saturday as the terror group continues to retrieve the bodies of dead hostages ahead of the next phase of the Gaza cease-fire.
Hadar Goldin, an Israeli soldier who was captured by Hamas fighters in an ambush in 2014, was discovered in a tunnel in Rafah — Hamas’ Oassam Brigades claim — a city which Israel has largely controlled for more than a year, Al Jazeera reported .
“An entire nation is waiting for Hadar to be returned to us. This is a mission that must and can be accomplished, for all of us,” the Goldin family said in a statement, reported by Israel National News .
