The UNO men’s basketball team delivered an upset win over TCU on the road to begin the regular season and returned to New Orleans on Saturday for an exhibition game against SUNO.
UNO scored points early and often in the scrimmage that was accompanied by homecoming festivities at Lakefront Arena. Enough of a lead was built up for all 15 players on UNO’s roster to see minutes on the floor in a 115-73 win over SUNO.
All but one of the 15 UNO players scored in the 43-point win over SUNO. UNO shot 57.5% from the field and 50% from the 3-point line with a total of 15 made 3-pointers.
