The City of Penticton and BC Housing will be holding a series of information sessions in the coming weeks related to the proposed transitional housing site at 616 Okanagan Avenue and 2088 Dartmouth Drive.
City Council voted Tuesday to postpone a decision on this matter and to hold information sessions with the public, with the Temporary Use Permit to return for a Council decision on Dec. 2.
An in-person information session will be held at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 5-7 p.m. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the temporary housing program, hear a presentation from City staff and to ask questions one-on-one with project partners about the proposal. Council will be in attendance to hear from the community as well.
