INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a shooting that happened Saturday evening on the north side of Indianapolis.
According to IMPD, around 7:52 p.m. on Nov. 8, officers were called to the 3800 block of North Pennsylvania Street , near 38th and Meridian streets, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male with gunshot wounds at the scene. He was taken to IU Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
According to IMPD Capt. Don Weilhammer, police believe the incident began as a disturbance in the street.
