DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Charges are pending for a driver after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Dickson County on Saturday morning, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

THP’s preliminary report said a Chevrolet C10 was traveling north on Highway 46 as a Harley Davidson was traveling south at around 11:30 a.m. The Chevy then attempted to turn left into a parking lot and reportedly did not yield to the motorcycle.

The motorcycle skidded onto its right side in an attempt to avoid the truck, but was unable to and collided with the Chevy.
