LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards took place on Saturday, honoring those who impact not just the Louisville community, but areas all around the world.
Launched back in 2013, the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards were developed to honor Ali’s lifelong humanitarianism and to celebrate a new generation of social changemakers.
This year’s honorees include Ford Foundation President Darren Walker, NBA analyst Nancy Lieberman, and former NFL All-Pro Anquan Boldin.
Lieberman was honored with the Humanitarian of the Year award and says she wouldn’t be where she is now without Muhammad Ali.
