The new oncology ward of Serampore Sramajibi Hospital, located in a rural panchayat area, was officially inaugurated by cancer winners, patients who have successfully battled the disease.

At the event, 22 cancer survivors who had received treatment at the hospital at different times and are now in good health, were honoured with certificates, flowers, and sweets.

Cancer survivors Mansura Begum, Mukesh Dutta, Sandhya Chandan Das, Ajmira Begum, Bharati Das, and others inaugurated the new oncology unit.

The oncology unit has been designed to facilitate various treatments while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy for patients.
