A superfit Scot is running from Buckingham Palace to Edinburgh Castle to raise £10,000 for a leading endometriosis charity. ‌

Jonathan Galbraith is taking on the 400-mile challenge as his partner Jodie Kidd suffers from the condition. ‌

Endometriosis is a debilitating disease which affects one in 10 women of reproductive age and can lead to chronic pain, difficulty getting ­pregnant and other health problems. ‌

Jonathan, 29, from Falkirk , hopes to raise awareness about the illness as well as cash for Endometriosis UK – having seen its impact on Jodie.

He told the Sunday Mail: “Jodie is such a strong person and never complains but I’ve seen how much this can really affect somebody on a day-to-day basis.
