JAIPUR: A 40-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his wife Friday in a violent domestic quarrel at their home in Pratap Nagar area. Police said the woman repeatedly struck her husband on the head with a grinding stone and steel pestle, killing him on the spot. The accused has been identified as Soni Prajapat (32), a native of Uttar Pradesh, while the victim was Gaurav Kumar Singhal (40), a resident of Sector-19, Pratap Nagar. The couple was married for about four years and lived in Jaipur since. Singhal's brother has filed an FIR against Soni, police said. According to a police officer, Singhal, who worked as a technician, had a fight with his wife around 3pm.
