DES MOINES, Iowa —

The holiday shopping season is officially underway.

The annual Des Moines Holiday Boutique is happening this weekend at the EMC Event Center. More than 130 vendors are offering everything from holiday decor to gourmet foods.

The event has drawn more than 14,000 shoppers and 200 vendors in years past. Tickets are $14.

The event runs through Sunday.

Hours:

Saturday, Nov. 8: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 9: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
