As Uttarakhand marked 25 years of its formation on Saturday (November 9), Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings to the people of the state.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Modi said, “On the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Uttarakhand, my best wishes to all my brothers and sisters of the state. Nestled in the lap of nature, this sacred land of ours is today accelerating progress in every field, including tourism.
