SHIPSHEWANA, Ind. -- Shipshewana kicked off the holiday season Saturday night with its annual lighting ceremony, drawing families and friends to downtown. This local tradition features shops and streets along IN-5 illuminated with festive lights and decorations at exactly 7 p.m. Residents and visitors gather to witness the official lighting of the holiday displays for the first time this year.

Throughout the day, attendees enjoy activities such as shopping in boutiques and dining at nearby restaurants. The event also includes a parade, boosting community spirit and excitement.
