Worthy Dog Rescue , a non-profit based in Virginia, received a call about a dog named Maggie who was in desperate need of help.

For years, Maggie lived tethered to a post in a dusty yard . Her only “shelter” was a collapsing wooden box that offered little protection from the elements.
