By altering apartment standards to entice development and by reducing the Vat rate in a bid to boost the viability of apartment building, the Government is hoping it will slowly shift the tide on its lagging housing schedule. It will also cap legal fees to curb people taking judicial reviews that frustrate vital housing and infrastructure projects, and cut through planning regulations to build modular homes.
