Scone’s White Park was buzzing recently as hundreds of young cattle enthusiasts gathered for the 2025 Upper Beef Bonanza (UHBB).
The event is Australia’s largest youth beef competition, drawing nearly 700 participants and close to 480 entries.
Among the participants were students from NSW Department of Primary Industries and Reginal Development’s Tocal College who brought 12 Brangus steers and heifers.
Tocal’s pupils delivered strong results across multiple categories, highlighting the strength and depth of youth engagement in the beef sector.
In the Led Heavy Middleweight class, steer “Tocal McFlurry” placed third, while “Tocal Happy Meal” was awarded Reserve Champion Light Middleweight.
