The Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), the nodal state agency for film and cinema in Manipur, said that the national award-winning Manipuri film ‘Eikhoigi Yum’, directed by Romi Meitei, has been officially selected for screening at the Telangana–North East India Connect: Techno-Cultural Festival, to be held under the aegis of Raj Bhavan, Telangana, in Hyderabad.

Director Romi Meitei, who also serves as an executive board member of MSFDS, has been a significant contributor to the growth of Manipuri cinema — both through his meaningful films and his continued guidance in shaping the society’s policies and programs for the development of the state’s film sector, the MSFDS said on November 8.
