Santa Fe County Clerk Katharine Clark woke up to serious allegations the day after Tuesday's election.

State Sen. Katy Duhigg, D-Albuquerque, took to Facebook to accuse Clark of starting to post election results before the polls closed. Duhigg also wrote she "heard" reports Clark had closed at least one polling location before 7 p.m. and that she knew of someone who didn't get to cast a ballot as a result.

"Not only does all of this violate our state election laws, it's also just a crappy thing to do to people who are trying to vote at the last minute," Duhigg alleged.

"Next time you hear the SF clerk pat herself on the back for getting results out quickly, understand that it's at the expense of the voters she should be serving," she wrote.

Clark called the allegations "totally inaccur
