Ahmedabad, Nov 9: In a major counter-terror operation, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Sunday arrested three suspects from Ahmedabad for allegedly conspiring to execute terrorist attacks across the country.

According to a statement from the Gujarat ATS, the trio was apprehended while supplying weapons and had been under surveillance for nearly a year. “All three suspects were on the Gujarat ATS’s radar for the past year. They were arrested while delivering weapons and were planning to carry out attacks in different parts of India,” the statement said.

Officials said further investigations are underway to trace their network and uncover the full extent of the conspiracy. More details are awaited. (Agencies)
