One of WA’s longest running bands will play a milestone concert in North Fremantle next month.
Surf/punk/garage band The Chevelles will celebrate their 35th anniversary with a special show at Mojo’s Bar.
Born in the summer of 1989-’90, The Chevelles came together from the ashes of some of Perth’s best bands of that era, including The Kryptonics, The Stems, The Freuds and The Diehards.
They have made multiple releases and 16 overseas tours through parts of Europe, South America and the US.
Their music was on high rotation on triple j and in the Top 30 European charts in the ‘90s and played at 30,000-capacity international outdoor festivals in the 2000s.
