Another city council election for Preston City is over. It was a fairly quiet campaign with pockets of conversation dependent on the social circle where your membership existed. Other than speaking to local service clubs and a chamber of commerce luncheon, there was only one candidate forum held. Physical attendance was less than desired. It was offered to all candidates, both opposed and unopposed in Franklin County but the majority of ballot names did not even participate. It was wisely offered in a Facebook livestream option, allowing a couple hundred views of unknown duration.
