A four-year-old boy is fighting for his life in hospital after being critically injured when he was hit by a firework on Bonfire Night.
It came after police were called to several reports of anti-social behaviour involving fireworks in the Elm Street area of Burnley, Lancs. Police have now released images of a young man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident and are calling on the public to identify him.
A Lancs Police spokesperson said: "We are aware this area has seen previous anti-social use of fireworks but this year has gone too far, resulting in a child being hospitalised. We are urging the community to do the right thing and tell us who he is."
