Breaking his silence on the Pune land deal scam controversy, NCP(SP) MLA Rohit Pawar Sunday said action should be taken against corruption without any bias.

Rohit Pawar’s cousin Parth Pawar, who is the son of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP Chief Ajit Pawar, is a key figure in the now-scrapped land deal.

Making his stance clear on the issue, Rohit Pawar said, “If anything wrong is done, there should be action. But while taking action, there should be no discrimination… The BJP ’s fight against corruption does not apply uniformly. Instead, it shows prejudice. Or else, why has the Devendra Fadnavis -led government, which took speedy action in the land deal case related to Parth Pawar, overlooked land corruption in CIDCO?
