Montclair Kimberley surprised everyone upsetting Rutgers Prep, No. 18 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the NJSIAA Non-public Group B Championship at Holmdel Park.

Entering Saturday, Montclair Kimberley was not viewed as a serious contender for the team championship. Despite that, Montclair Kimberley defeated two teams that were considered favorites in Rutgers Prep and Princeton Day (last season’s group champions).
