Haryana: In a boost to medical education in Haryana, Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College has received permission from the National Medical Commission (NMC) to start two new postgraduate courses from the upcoming academic session 2025-26.

In this regard, Dr MK Garg, Director of KCGMC, informed the Tribune that a total of four seats for ophthalmology and three seats for ENT courses have been approved by the NMC . Thus, with a total of seven PG seats in the two courses, KCGMC offers 21 seats in nine courses. Therefore, with these courses, the college continues to expand its postgraduate academic portfolio.
