ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened late Saturday.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3600 block of Dunnica Avenue at around 11:25 p.m. for a shooting. A man had been shot and was transported to an area hospital, where he died.

Homicide detectives are handling the active investigation.
