Anil Vij orders strict action against agents involved in illegal trafficking to Russia

Chandigarh, November 9, 2025 - Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij has directed the police to take strict action against two agents who allegedly sent two youths from Ambala Cantt’s Defence Colony to Russia through illegal means.

Vij was redressing the grievances at his residence in Ambala Cantt. A complainant from Defence Colony stated that two agents from Panjokhra Sahib and Dayalbagh lured him with a promise to send him to Georgia and demanded Rs. 5 lakh. The complainant paid the amount, but instead of sending him to Georgia, the agents first sent him to Mecca.
