Coventry allotment buildings that have survived well over a hundred years have been added to a special preservation list. Stoney Road Allotments contains five distinctive summerhouses that are listed at Grade II and are considered a rare surviving example of Coventry ’s late 19th and early 20th-century heritage.

Historic England has revealed the site has been added to its Heritage at Risk Register 2025. The Register gives an annual snapshot of the health of England’s valued historic buildings and places, helping to ensure they can be protected and continue to be enjoyed in the future.
