If you ask any history teacher about India's borders, they will tell you that the North-West frontier has always been our most interesting neighbor. Since 1947, when Pakistan was born, something strange has been happening there. Afghanistan and Pakistan share a long border, they follow the same religion, and they even share the Pashtun people living on both sides. Yet, they have never been real friends.
