: The skies above the Brahmaputra roared with pride and precision as the Indian Air Force (IAF) organised its first-ever full-scale air show flypast in Guwahati on Sunday, marking the 93rd anniversary celebrations of the force.

In a historic first for the Northeast, the IAF showcased over 75 aircraft and helicopters in more than 25 formations over the iconic Lachit Ghat, turning the Brahmaputra River into a stage of aerial splendour. The event drew thousands of spectators who watched in awe as the IAF’s might and mastery unfolded above them.

Several parts of Guwahati were caught in massive traffic snarls on Sunday, with commuters stranded due the Indian Air Force Show, which drew massive crowds causing bottlenecks.
