Barcelona and Baskonia fall short in away domestic games

Failing to get back on track, FC Barcelona suffered a third straight loss across all competitions, falling to Girona, 96-78, on Sunday.

From nearing a 30-point advantage to narrowly holding on down the stretch, Hiopos Lleida snapped Baskonia ’s four-game winning streak across all competitions with an 86-80 victory in Espai Fruita. Trent Forrest (hamstring) and Markus Howard (hand) remained sidelined for the team coached by Paolo Galbiati.
