A single mum on Universal Credit says the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) didn’t pay her nursery fee - and now has the cheek to tell HER to "be respectful."

Lauren Florence, a single mum from the UK, has shared her frustrations after Universal Credit didn’t pay her nursery fees. Not only this, but Lauren then explained how the benefit system dealt with her complaint, leaving many totally stunned.

She says she had “never” had any problems with the process, but this all changed in April. She explained: “I’ve never had any issues until the month of April when I did my evidence, I uploaded it and they came back straight away and said, ‘actually, that’s not good enough evidence.’”
