Hyderabad, Nov. 9 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday strongly criticised the closure of private colleges, saying the move was aimed at threatening the government .

Speaking at a media meet here on Sunday, he questioned how students’ futures would be secured if colleges remained closed for six months. CM Revanth Reddy asserted that education was a service, not a business. Expressing anger, he asked whether colleges should resort to shutdowns and threats instead of dialogue over fee payments.

Revanth Reddy made it clear that confrontations and protests would not solve the problem. CM Revanth Reddy said the government was ready to act according to the rules and urged college managements to cooperate.
