The tax-free pension lump sum could be changed by the Labour Party government in the upcoming Autumn Budget, it has been warned. State pensioners face a rule change for the first time in 20 YEARS, it has been warned.

Ms Reeves, who will deliver her Autumn Statement on November 26, could reduce the tax-free lump sum, which the Telegraph reports has been "a cornerstone of retirement planning for nearly 20 years."

The Fabian Society, a prominent Labour-associated think tank, has urged Ms Reeves to cut the tax-free pension lump sum to £100,000. That would be a cut of over £100,000.
