In a major breakthrough, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Friday arrested three ISIS-linked terrorists from Ahmedabad in a swift counter-terrorism operation. The accused were allegedly plotting terror attacks in Gujarat and other parts of India and were in the process of exchanging weapons when they were apprehended.

Arrests and Seizures

The arrested men have been identified as Azad Suleman Shaikh, Mohammad Suhail, and Dr Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed, a Hyderabad-based MBBS graduate from China. According to officials, Shaikh and Suhail had procured arms from Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh and hidden them in a graveyard in Gandhinagar. Mohiuddin was set to collect the cache and return to Hyderabad to execute further plans.
