Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old Cumberland County man in a Bridgeton home on Wednesday.
Jamille Wright, a city resident, was found shortly before 9 p.m. at the residence on Nichols Street, according to Bridgeton police.
Officers administered life-saving measures to Wright, who had been shot twice, before members of the Bridgeton Fire Department arrived and took over medical care.
Wright was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.
Bridgeton police and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating.
